Anime Now Playing on this website displays the last updated anime episode that was played by me. This, in conjunction with the MAL Updater script, is what is used to update the now playing content on the site. Note that the now playing content may not necessarily match the history on MAL, as MAL does not keep track of rewatches unless it is strictly set by me, the user. The now playing information is stored on a local database.
The website uses a custom PHP class to display this information from the local database, and may call upon external information (such as the URL to the anime series' cover art) to display everything.
